About the Practice
An engineering studio that happens to dig.
Halden & Vale was founded in 2008 by site engineers who were tired of residential groundworks delivered with commercial-yard habits. We approach every home as a one-off — with laser set-out, modern compact machinery, and the discipline of an engineering office on the back of the cab.

- Every set-out is laser-verified twice — once on arrival, once before the pour. Speed is what happens when accuracy stops costing rework.

Modern, low-impact machinery
- Compact tracked excavators, rubber-tracked dumpers, and zero-emission site cabins. Less ground damage, more access, no excuses.

Engineering-led documentation
- Setting-out drawings, as-builts and pour records issued as a matter of course — not when asked.

A small book of clients
- We take on a limited number of residential projects each year so the same team is on site from strip to handover.
